Research expertise

More than 20 years of expertise in molecular biology, plant biotechnology and characterization of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Development and application of (bio)molecular analytical tools for food authenticity, screening, detection and quantification of GMOs and food allergens (PCR, real-time PCR, ELISA, LFD, etc.).

Services expertise

Coordination of the ILVO task as National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for GMOs since 2006 and of all services concerning GMO analyses.

Coordination of the ILVO task as National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for food allergens since 2011 and of all services concerning allergen analyses.
