Abstract

Quinoa is a halophyte or “salt-loving” plant, known for its
tolerance to drought and salinity, and for its nutritional value.
Despite quinoa's potential, there is a notable absence of
models simulating its behavior under salinity stress. This
knowledge gap hinders a comprehensive understanding of the
underlying processes and limits insights into its performance to
future climates.
