Reducing antimicrobial use on livestock is high on the European agenda. Forty-eight Flemish farrow-to-finish pig farms received specific tailored advice to reduce their antimicrobial use, and improve their herd management. We estimated the net benefit of the effect of the tailored advice. The results showed that the advised farms had a better net benefit (+€5 per sow per year) than the control farms.
